Easy Yummy Recipe – Chocolate Tart


Here is another yummy, easy recipe! A dessert this time, and one of my favourites. A chocolate tart, so gooey and delicious you're going to finish it all by the end of the day! Its super easy to prepare, here is what you will need to make it.


Ingredients for the dough:
500g flour
200g sugar
2 eggs
100 butter
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 pinch of salt
1 tea spoon of bicarbonate

Ingredients for the chocolate cream:
500 ml milk
2 eggs
250 g of sugar
75g of flour
75 g of cocoa powder

So first of all you're going to prepare your tart base. In a bowl, pop in all of the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, salt and bicarbonate; then add the eggs, butter and oil. Mix well with your hands, and when all of the ingredients will be well mixed, set it aside as you prepare the cream.

For the cream, you follow the same directions. In a bowl, mix well of the dry ingredients, sugar, flour and cocoa powder, followed by the eggs and the milk. Pop it on a low heat and mix it constantly until the cream will dense, and set it aside to cool down.

Now, take a cake tin, and pop in half of your tart base. Press it with your hands on the base and all around the edges. Then pop in your cream (which will be colder now). With the remaining half, you can create nice shapes (like stars or hearts) to decorate the top of your cake.

Pop in into the oven, at 175 for 35-40 minutes, or until the dough will be nicely golden. Let it cool down, and enjoy!!
