Easy, Quick Recipe - Chocolate Croissants

One more recipe today. I thought about a super quick, easy one, to enjoy for a yummy breakfast or a sweet midday snack. We're making some chocolate croissants, but you can easily switch the chocolate with some jam or custard cream if you like. So, here is what we're going to need and the few steps we're taking to prepare those little treats.

Ingredients:
1 puffy paste roll
¼ glass of water
2 tablespoons of sugar
chocolate cream
As you can see, this recipe is super quick and easy cause we won't make the dough from scratch, but we're using some puffy paste, cause its the easiest solution for people with little time.
A round puffy paste roll would be ideal, so if you only find a rectangular one in your local shop, just cut the edges and try to give it an oval shape. That will work as fine!

When we have our round/oval shape, we're using a knife and cut it in half on both horizontal and vertical way, as is we're drawing a cross on it. We're going to have the paste cut into four triangles; now we're cutting each triangle into three smaller triangles, and those will be our croissants.
On the lager side of each triangle we're going to put a teaspoon of chocolate cream (or jam, or custard cream), and then fold the larger side on itself and roll the paste til the end. Make sure the point of the croissant stays on the bottom, and place each of them on a tray covered with baking paper.
Now take a glass and fill a ¼ of it with water. Put two table spoons of sugar inside, and whisk to melt it. Once all of your croissants are ready, take a cooking brush and cover the whole surface of the yummy treats with the water and sugar mixture. Place in the oven and cook for about 25-30 min at 180 degrees.
When your croissants are golden and soft, they're ready! Enjoy them with your tea, coffee, juice, or just by themselves, they're amazing!
