Let's Watch A Movie - A Street Cat Named Bob

It is very odd that a cats lover like me had not seen yet A Street Cat Named Bob. I decided to watch it a couple of nights ago, and I loved it! It is a 2016 movie based on the true story of James Bowen, a homeless London street musician whose life changed completely after he met a ginger street cat.
James was not having the best time of his life when he met Bob; he was homeless, bad relationship with his family, trying to recover from drug addiction. Than, a night, he found a ginger street cat in his flat, and fed him, giving him a place where to sleep for the night. The following day he decided to leave the cat free, hoping he would have been able to get back to his place and his owners, but the cat apparently wanted to stay around him.

Then, after James found the cat wounded in the neighbourhood one day, he gave away all of his few savings to be able to buy him medicines, and decided to keep him, naming him Bob.
Bob gave a huge turn to his life. Not only cause now James had a friend keeping him company, but also a reason to get up and get some money, as now he had not only his own mouth to feed, but Bob's as well. Moreover, when he was around singing and playing guitar in the squares, people were stopping by, fascinated by this guy with his ginger cat on his shoulders.
A journalist saw him and get interested in his story, so they decided to write a book about James friendship with Bob. The book was published in 2010, and went viral in weeks. It soon became a best seller, and gave James the opportunity to completely change his life.
I really liked the movie, especially cause its based on a true story, and you can actually see how a pet friend can change your life, making it better. It is tribute to friendship, hope, love. It is a way to make people understand it is silly to have prejudices, and that everybody deserves a chance. Watch it, you'll love it too, I'm sure. From my side, I will soon buy the book to.
