Get Inspired – How to Style a Leather Skirt

If there's a piece of clothing I love very much, and I find so sexy and easy to style, that the leather skirt. It can be the statement piece of an outfit, and it is so extremely easy to dress up or down, according to the accessories and other clothes we match with it. Here are some inspiring looks, and how celebs managed to create very cute or very elegant outfits using a leather skirt.

Dress it Up

Angelina Jolie, beautiful and ethereal, dress up a “sporty” leather skirt with a feminine white shirt, statement jewellery and heels. Easy and smart. Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, makes it very hot, with a silk black shirt and a lace bra. I find the total black very sexy in this case, and her look results flirty and polished. Bianca Brady makes her leather skirt look even more elegant using an embroidered top, and leaves both her hair and makeup very simple, so that the full attention is focused on her outfit.

Dress it Down

On the other hand, a leather skirt may be very sporty, and perfect for more casual looks. Jamie Chung creates the perfect casual chic outfit, with a white shirt, cardy, leather skirt and leopard heels. So cute! Kery Russell manages to make it look even more casual, topping it with a lovely striped top. With her messy bun, heels and bright lipstick creates a perfect casual-but-not-so-much look.

And finally Olivia Pierson, that I find beautiful with her neutral cashmere sweater, striped heels and mini leather skirt. I also love her romantic long hair and her makeup, so neutral and matching perfectly her outfit.
