Easy Recipe: Chicken Wrap


So, here comes a super duper easy and quick recipe for those nights (or days) when you really have no time – or just don't feel like – for cooking. Its simple chicken wraps, prepared in minutes, very yummy and filling. Enjoy your chicken wraps!

Ingredients (for two people)
Two tortilla wraps
Two chicken breasts
Two tomatoes
Six leaves of lettuce
Half avocado
Salt and pepper
Cheese of your choice (I used halloumi, but cheddar is great)
Yogurt sauce

Ok, lets prepare the yogurt sauce first. Into a small bowl mix three spoons of white yogurt with a spoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped parsley and if you like it, a bit of mustard. Mix well.

The, grill the chicken, cut into small pieces, and set on a side. Grill the halloumi cheese, but if chose any different kind of cheese you don't need to grill them first. Lastly, leave the tortilla wraps into a hot pan for a few minutes on each side, s that they become hot, tastier and easier to wrap.

Now its time to assemble our wraps! Take one of the tortilla wraps, and cover it all with the yogurt sauce. Then place three lettuce leaves on a side, topped by some tomato slides, the chicken, the halloumi and the avocado slides.

Wrap it firmly, and leave it again on a hot pan for a minute or two, so that the tortilla gets “sealed” and the cheese inside melts with the chicken. Place the wrap on a plate, cut in a half, and its ready to serve! Do the same with the other (or as many as you'd like) tortilla.


The funny part of this recipe is that you can customize as you like it really. You can use peppers, salami, hot sauce, or replace the chicken with other meat, like turkey or beef. You can make Mexican wraps adding black beans, tomato sauce, sweet corn, chilly flakes and jalapeno peppers. SO its up to your imagination! Enjoy! xoxo
