Fruit Tart – Fresh and yummy, ready in 15 min!
Imagine a hot, sunny summer day, a lazy afternoon, a few friends over
to chat and have a drink. You would like to offer them a fresh and
yummy dessert, but really have no time to prepare one (or simply,
you're craving for sweets, and have no energy to make one from
scratch). Well, I'm suggesting you to prepare this delicious, fresh
and super easy and quick to prepare fruits tart, a dessert
that simply represents summer, and that basically is everybody's
favourite!
This fruits tart is ready in 15 minutes, nothing more. Why is that
so? Because we're basically using all prep ingredients, making it the
perfect I-need-a-dessert-but-have-no-time-to-bake treat to prepare in
a bunch of minutes time!
Ingredients:
1 pre made tart pastry sheet
1 can of pre made custard cream
fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, kiwis)
See how little ingredients we need to prepare this treat? And in a
few steps we're having our tart ready. We just need to unroll our pre
made tart pastry on a baking tray, place some dry chickpeas on it,
and let it cook for about 10-15 min. It is important to place some
dry legumes on it (like dry chickpeas or beans) so that while cooking
the pastry doesn't rise up.
When the pastry is ready and cooled a bit, we can place on it the pre
made custard cream (if you have time, feel free to prepare one from
scratch, I am suggesting you to use all pre made ingredients in the
event you need to prepare one as quickly as possible and have no
time), and let it cool completely. After that, you can place your
favourite fruits on it, or simply the ones you have available in the
fridge. Let the tart rest in the fridge until you're serving it to
your hosts.
I suggest you to let the tart rest in the fridge for a bit so
that the cream can set properly; I made a mistake and basically cut
it almost straight away, and the cream liquefied in the tray, making
a bit of a mess... lesson learned though!
Hope you're giving this super easy and quick to prepare sweet tart a
go, and as always, I'll talk to you soon
M.
