DIY Fece Sheet Masks
Since I discovered Tony Moly face sheet masks, I started to buy those
kind of face masks like if there was no tomorrow! I absolutely love
them, as they are extremely quick and easy to use, and leave my skin
hydrated, soft and tighter. As I was surfing the internet, I found
this very cute DIY showing how to create a face sheet mask at home,
and I couldn't resist try it myself! You only need a bunch of few
ingredients, and you're ready to go!
These are the ingredients we are going to need to create our sheet
face masks at home:
3 green tea bags
Rice papers (those you need to prepare spring rolls or dumplings, and
they are very easy to find in oriental food shops)
Face serum of your choice
So, the first thing to do is taking a jar, purring it some water and
pop in your green tea bags. Green tea is a very good antioxidant, and
it helps making skin brighter. After a few minutes, you can take your
green tea bags out, and pop in the water your rice paper. Usually
rice paper comes in round shapes, which is perfect. You will just
need to cut each square in 4 parts, and after they're well soaked you
will need to pop each quarter on your face.
Rice is rich of very good naturals for our skin as well, as it helps
refreshing the skin and make redness disappear. When the rice paper
is soaked and elastic, it is ready to be used.
Tie your hair away from your face, and put on a very generous amount
of the face serum you chose (this will help the rice paper to better
stick on your skin). Then start putting on our quarters of rice
paper, applying one on the forehead, two on your cheeks and one on
your chin. You ca cut and adjust them according to your preference.
Let the mask on for 10 minutes, and then remove it. You can actually
feel the result! Your skin will feel so refreshed, hydrated, smooth
and tighten. It is a very fun and cute DIY, and so cheap as well!
With 4.00£ roughly you can create at least 8-9 face masks,
definitely cheaper than buying sheet face masks in the drugstore.
Let me know if you knew already this DIY, and if you tried it out or
are going to. Take care you all xoxo
